Daily Guidance

---- DAILY ENCOURAGEMENT ----
"In the realm of Buddhism, truly praise worthy are those who have strong faith and a strong commitment to kosen-rufu; truly great are those who actively share the Daishonin’s Buddhism with others and protect the Soka Gakkai with its noble mission. Never be swayed or led astray by worldly titles or positions."

--- DAILY GOSHO ---
"Namu or nam is a Sanskrit word. Here it means to dedicate one's life, that is to the Person and to the Law. In terms of the Person, one dedicates one's life to Shakyamuni Buddha; in terms of the Law, one dedicates one's life to the Lotus Sutra."
(Ongi kuden - Gosho Zenshu, page 708, The Record of the Orally TransmittedTeachings, page 3)
